The importance of the environment in the development of the baby

From the moment we bring our son into the world, we already introduce him into a social world that will greatly condition his development, since since then he must be properly cared for by the people around him. Therefore, it is very important to highlight the importance of the environment in the development of the baby.

The development of children depends on several relationships between the child and the environment, where these existing interactions play an important role in their future.

And it is thanks to these emotional ties that are established between the child and his parents that the child can optimally develop his motor, cognitive, linguistic and social skills.

But sometimes the environment surrounding the baby does not meet adequate conditions so that a normalized development of their abilities takes place. I mean, for example, babies who have not had enough affection from their parents, who have not been stimulated in the right way or who did not have adequate food, among other similar situations.

This results in those children who are in an environment with these characteristics, are more likely to have some kind of problem in their development, in addition to causing them great social and emotional problems.

The consequences of having, or not, a lack of adequate environment for the development of the baby has very important between zero and six years, since this is where a lower cognitive, motor, social and communicative performance is detected.

In these cases, these problems are always thought to be due to the fact that the child has not received adequate stimulation, but many other possible causes must always be taken into account, such as the possibility of the baby being born more vulnerable due to improper feeding of the mother during pregnancy or poor pre-delivery care.

In addition, this fragility of the baby can also be conditioned by the economic, social and psychological level of the parents, which may not be the most appropriate to deal with the upbringing of their children.

It is very complicated to point out a single factor as responsible for a child having some kind of development problem, so you have to take into account the importance of the environment in the development of the baby, along with the biological risk factors on the development of the baby.
