Carranque, closer to Rome with children

This past Tuesday we were in a very appropriate cultural activity to do it with the little ones of the house. It is a visit to the archaeological park of Carranque, which allowed us to be closer to Rome with the children.

We went with a group of families with children of all ages, from 3 to 12 years old, and everyone had a wonderful time. Even the little ones enjoyed watching the exhibition and especially, walking through the archaeological park and looking at the remains of this complex full of surprises and beauty.

The children of four, five and six years listened to the astonished explanations and marveled at the beautiful mosaics and ruins of the old buildings, making an approach to the Roman culture appropriate to their age and very active, so the visit united what didactic and fun in an excellent way. They kept asking questions, showing that there is no inadequate age to be interested in history.

Then, on the way out, we were able to eat in a beautiful setting in the middle of a very careful pine forest, and the little ones, as always, were playing and running around in the countryside. Then, at home, we made our own mosaic and so they applied what they had learned that morning.

If you can approach with your children I recommend you not to lose yourself Carranque, and bring them closer to Rome in a playful and very active way. You will have a great time.
